The 2 Seater Car

The chassis was purchased from a guy in Southern California. He received it when Revenge Racing went out of business. The chassis was not complete, but the structure was there and it was a good price. Most of the aluminum work was also complete and for me, this was a plus. I could cut and weld tubes, but doing sheet metal work is still out of my comfort zone.

11-16-09 I cut the old motor mounts out and began to mount my LS1 and 2D

Just thinking about the spare tire mount :)

Added lots of tubes for strength and safety

Mounted the seats and fitting the aluminum work as I go.

12-01-09 Mounted the shifter and the cutter breaks.

12-09-09 Mounted the front arms with little mods...

12-10-09 Removed the rear trailing arm mounts

12-12-09 Built the new trailing arm mounts

12-25-09 Mounted the fresh air pump, battery and electrical plate.

12-26-09 Mounted the radiator

Mounted the intake/filter and radiator screen.

Built a place to mount the jack and other tools...

The engine is disassembled for a little rebuild...

Mounted the "Oh Shit bar" for the co-driver.

Beefed up the outer trailing arm mounts...

Plated the engine mount :)

01-01-10 I got the trailing arms tacked together and the plates all cut
